Library.md is a curated platform of markdown knowledge packs, grouped by domain, that you add to your AI assistant so it gives you current, factual, domain-specific advice. Packs are published by the platform's creators, and every file shows its sources and a last-reviewed date.

Open a file, then copy or download the raw markdown and drop it into your assistant: a Claude Project, Cursor rules, a Codex context file, or simply paste it into the chat. From then on the assistant draws on that knowledge when it answers you. No installation or integration is needed.

General assistants are trained on broad data with a fixed cut-off, so on specific, current questions they often give generic, out of date, or invented answers, stated with full confidence. Library.md files are curated, referenced, and freshness-dated, so your assistant answers from vetted current knowledge and you can check the sources.

A file is a single markdown knowledge document on one topic. A pack is a curated collection of files around one job to be done, such as UK company setup. Buying a pack gives you all of its files, and a file can appear in more than one pack.

The curated core library is free to read, copy, and download, and it stays free. Some packs are paid, as a one-off purchase in pounds. Buying a pack unlocks every file in it and saves it to your library, so you can copy the latest version any time. There is no subscription.

Library.md is built around verification rather than blind trust. We curate which creators and packs are listed, every file shows its sources so you can check them, and everything carries a last-reviewed date with anything past six months flagged for review. Because files are written by their authors, the sources and freshness dates are how you confirm a file before you rely on it.

Files are written by Library.md's creators. At launch most are written by the founder, and the platform is opening to vetted contributors. Each file is credited to its author and reflects that author's own research and views, not the views of Library.md. Every file shows its sources and a review date, and you can report anything that looks wrong.

Any assistant that accepts text or markdown. That includes Claude, Cursor, Codex, ChatGPT, and most others. Because the files are plain markdown, they are portable and not locked to one tool.

No account is needed to read, copy, or download free files. A free account unlocks saving files and packs to your library, upvoting, downvoting, and commenting. An account is also needed to buy a paid pack.

Packs are digital products that unlock immediately, so by purchasing you agree the content is available to you straight away. If a pack is faulty or not as described, contact us and we will put it right. Full details are in the Terms.
