Terms of Service

Last updated: 22 July 2026

1. Who we are and these terms

These terms are a contract between you and Jay Alcock, trading as E10 Solutions(“Library.md”, “we”, “us”), the operator of librarymd.com. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Not professional advice

The content on Library.md is general knowledge to inform your AI assistant and your own thinking. It is not legal, tax, accounting, financial, or other professional advice and must not be relied on as such. Where a file is written by one of our creators, it reflects that author’s own research and views, not ours. You are responsible for the decisions you make, and you should verify anything important with a suitably qualified professional.

3. Accounts

Some features need an account, which we provide through our authentication partner. Keep your details accurate and your account secure, and let us know if you think it has been compromised. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

4. Acceptable use

Please use Library.md fairly. Do not attempt to bypass access controls or scrape paid content, resell or redistribute paid files, post unlawful content in comments, or abuse other users. We may remove content or restrict access where these terms are breached.

5. User and third-party content

Some content on Library.md is created by people other than us: comments you and other users post, and knowledge files and packs published by our creators. That content is the author’s own. Library.md does not write, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of content authored by others, and it does not necessarily reflect our views. You are responsible for content you submit and must have the right to post it. We may review, moderate, or remove content but are not obliged to. If you see content that is inaccurate, unlawful, or objectionable, report it to [CONTACT EMAIL] and we will look into it.

6. Purchases and access

Paid packs are one-off purchases in pounds sterling, processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Buying a pack grants you access to its files for your personal use. We do not store your card details; Stripe processes the payment.

7. Cancellation and refunds

Packs are digital content that is delivered immediately. Where you are a consumer you normally have a 14-day right to cancel, but by purchasing and accessing the files straight away you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose that cancellation right once access begins. This does not affect your rights if the content is faulty or not as described under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We may still offer a refund at our discretion.

8. Intellectual property and licence

Creators retain ownership of the content they contribute and grant Library.md a licence to host, display, and distribute it through the platform. For free files, and for packs you buy, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the files with your own AI assistants and for your own decisions. You may not resell, publish, or redistribute the files, or pass them off as your own. Cited third-party sources remain the property of their owners.

9. Freshness and accuracy

We work to keep files current and referenced, but we do not warrant that the content is complete, error-free, or current at the moment you use it. Freshness dates show when a file was last reviewed, not a guarantee of accuracy.

10. Availability

The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend, or withdraw files, packs, or the whole service. We aim to keep the site running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, so far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on the content, and our total liability in connection with a paid pack is limited to the amount you paid for it.

12. Third-party services

The site relies on third parties, including Clerk for accounts, Stripe for payments, Vercel for hosting, and Google for analytics. Their own terms apply to the parts of the service they provide.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your own place of residence.
